Proclamation – Borough of Brooklyn

Whereas, all of Brooklyn joins in spirit with the Bonadies family who have come together for a dual celebration – the 130 anniversary of the Carrano-Bonadies family business and the equally momentous occasion of Andrea Bonadies’ 75th birthday – and to pay tribute ti the rich history of the Carrano-Bonadies family that have built Locanda Bonadies Bellavista sul Mare as one of the most stunning tourist destinations on the Ravello, Amalfi Coast; and

Whereas, on behalf of all Brooklynites, I salute the Carrano-Bonadies family that have for 130 years maintained the rich tradition of “family touch management” offering their clientele all the comforts they could imagine in a stunning setting, I commend Andrea Carrano-Bonadies who as for the past forty years worked tirelessly to maintain and transform Hotel Bonadies into a showplace with the help of his beloved wife Slavina – of blessed memory – I congratulate hom on the auspicious occasion of the 130 anniversary of Hotel Bonadies and especially for his 75th birthday – an amazing achievement that is dreamed of by many and achieved by a chose few – I wish him continued health and happiness, surronded by his daughters Suita and Mara, and grandchildren Andrea Jr., Umberto, Tiziano and Eduardo who are ready to take their place in the family business and continue the century-old tradition of makinf clientes happy;
